This folder contains XFun files that can be used to extend MathPad's capabilities. To install an XFun, move it to MathPad's folder. When MathPad starts up it loads all the XFuns in its folder. Installed XFuns will be added to the Functions menu and may also add items to the Help menu.
Adding XFuns will increase MathPads memory needs. Use the Finder's get info box to increase MathPad's memory size when you add XFuns.
fft discrete Fourier transform routines (20K)
finance compound and annuity functions (2K)
gamma gamma,lgamma,erf and erfc functions PPC only (2K)
histogram accumulate a histogram of the values in an array (10K)
hyperbolic hyperbolic trig functions (2K)
imageRGB allow direct specification of image color components (5K)
linfit fit data to a straight line using linear regression (5K)
playsynth play sounds using the wave-table synthesizer (5K)
readsnd read, write and play sampled sounds (100K)
sliders allow values to be controlled by slider bars (5K)
viewsurf display a projection of a 3D surface (30K)
Most of these XFun files contain both 68K and PowerPC code. MathPadPPC will take advantage of the PowerPC code if it is available. The PowerPC code is ignored by the 68K application.
